Dr. Chen is an economist, who has taught for more than 25 years. Prior to her engagement in international education, she served as the MBA program director.She leads and expands international engagement and provide leadership for global initiatives for Shenandoah University.
Wenbin Tang
Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance
Dr. Tang completed his postdoctoral program in accounting and finance at the University of Florida. He obtained his bachelor’s in international business from the Renmin University of China. Tang teaches managerial accounting, financial accounting, financial management, investments and portfolio management.
Bernadine Dykes
Associate Professor of Management
Bernadine J. Dykes, Ph.D., CPA is an Associate Professor of Management and Chairperson of the Management Science Department.Her research interests include first mover advantages, entry timing strategies and public-private partnerships. Prior to academia, she worked for several years in the financial services industry with KPMG in Washington, DC and JPMorganChase in New York City.
John Winn
Professor of Business Law
Dr. Winn served in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps (United States Army) from 1985 through 2005. He has taught domestically and abroad, including teaching positions in the Criminal Law Department at the Judge Advocate General’s School in Charlottesville, Virginia, and the Department of Law, United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.
Montressa Washington
Assistant Professor of Management
Montressa Washington, Ph.D, is the co-director of Shenandoah University’s Institute for Entrepreneurship and is an assistant professor of management. Dr. Washington worked in management consulting for 17 years, specializing in change management, technology adoption and business transformation before transitioning into academia.
Lili Zhu
Associate Professor of Finance
Dr. Zhu conducts research on topics within the fields of international financial markets, international economics, and bank regulation/management. She has published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Applied Finance, Journal of Behavioral Finance, Banking and Finance Review, World Economy, Journal of Economics and Business, Global Finance Journal, Advances in Competitiveness Research, and professional journals such as Commercial Lending Review.
Giles Jackson
Director of Internship Program and Associate Professor
A senior faculty member with almost 30 years of service to Shenandoah University, Dr. Jackson teaches sustainable business strategy, advanced management theory and practice, marketing and branding, and also directs the business school’s internship program. A passionate advocate of experiential learning, he has led consulting projects with hundreds of companies and non-profit organizations. Recent clients include Stryker and Quantum Sails.

Dr. Xiaodong Xu
Professor Xiaodong Xu is a professor of accounting and the academic director of the Master of Professional Accounting program at the department of accounting of the Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Professor Xiaodong Xu visited Columbia Business School and Hong Kong Polytechnic University as visiting professor. He is a council member of the Board of Directors of China Accounting Review, and an editor of the Journal of Systems Management (in Chinese). In past ten years, he served as an independent director for nearly 10 companies.

Dr. Juan Peng
Associate Professor, Department of Accounting , Antai College of Economics & Management. Her research interests include Financial Management,Marketing of Financial Industry, Marketing Audit and Strategic Financial Management. She teaches Financial Management,Property Evaluation, Law of Economics,Law of Taxation, Principal Accounting, General Theory in Accounting, Financial Management and Contemporary Audit Theory and Practice.
Dr. Zhizhong Zhou
Associate Professor of Information Systems & Finance Antai College of Economics and Management Shanghai Jiaotong University. He teaches Management Information Systems (Undergraduate), IS Strategies and Digital Transformation (EMBA, MBA), Business Analytics and Data Mining , Algorithmic Trading and Quantitative Investment, Corporate Business Process Management and Internal Control, Big Data and Managerial Decision Marking and SAS Software Applications.\
Dr. Alan McKay
Dr. McKay completed his master’s and Ph.D. in health care administration at University of Mississippi in 1980. After that, he became an assistant professor at Mercer University College of Pharmacy. He joined the faculty of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in 1983 before moving to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences as chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice in 1990. Then he began his new position as founding dean of Shenandoah University’s School of Pharmacy in 1995 and retired in August 2016. In recent years, he served as the director of Shenandoah University’s Design Innovation Center and the Executive Dean at the School of Business.
Dr. Gang Cheng
Dr. Cheng is an Associate Professor of Economics and Business Management at Beijing Normal University in China. He obtained his undergraduate degree in economics and Ph.D. in economics and business management from Beijing Normal University. After graduated, Dr. Cheng joined Beijing Normal University as a faculty member and was appointed as the Deputy Director of the Institute of Educational Economics and the Secretary-General of the Educational Economics Branch of the Chinese Education Society. Dr. Cheng has published over 40 scholarly entries, including 13 textbooks and handbooks. For his research efforts he received the Beijing Municipal Distinguished Scholar award. His research interests focus on economics, human resource management and education policies. Dr. Cheng is chair of the GDOL program’s doctoral thesis committee.
Dr. Kueiyang Cheng
Dr. Cheng is an Assistant Professor at Providence University in Taiwan. She obtained her Ph.D. in international business from National Taiwan University. Prior to joining Providence University, Dr. Cheng served as the Project Researcher for the National Science Council and the Industry Analyst for the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre. Dr. Cheng has published over 20 papers and conference proceedings. Her research interests lie in the area of strategic management and international business, including internationalization strategies, corporate governance and knowledge management. Dr. Cheng is the faculty director for the GDOL program and a member of the doctoral thesis committee.
